Brekken was born at 34 weeks and was diagnosed with multiple intestinal atresia (blockages in his intestine). He has been fighting in the NICU for 4 weeks now. He continues to make some progress but still has a long road ahead to recovery. He loves snuggling, his pacifier, and hearing mom and dad talk/sing to him.
